Full description
Enjoy a day of leisure sailing on Lake Garda, surrounded by an enchanting panorama and the wonders on the shore of Italy's largest lake basin.
Setting sail from the Verona side, an experienced skipper will take you on a sailing trip that will approach, depending on the amount of wind, some of the lake's major points of interest, such as Sirmione, Punta San Vigilio, Lazise Castle , and the Venetian Customs House.
On board the sailboat you will be able to relax and admire the beautiful colours of nature, the lake views, the sparkling waters, and, if you like, you can assist the captain in manoeuvring the boat.
What we will do
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the prestigious Nautica Casarola di Pacengo, a hamlet of Lazise, on the Veronese shores of Lake Garda. Before embarking, there will be a briefing on the day's activities and the rules of behaviour on the boat.
We will agree on theitinerary together according to our preferences, wind direction and intensity, and we will welcome the suggestions of the Captain, who has a deep knowledge of the area.
The sailboat on which we will carry out the excursion is a DELPHIA 29, a stable, safe, comfortable and multi-accessorised boat with a bathroom, kitchen, hot water, fridge and ample seating, which can be used both indoors and outdoors. We will have lunch on board! It will be the Captain himself who will prepare a tasty buffet for us (picnic-style on the boat) of excellent cold meats and cheeses, then, on request, a first course. All accompanied by DOC wine and beer galore!
We will spend most of the day sailing peacefully on the waters of Lake Garda, stopping occasionally for a refreshing swim, season permitting. We can, for example, sail towards the castle of Sirmione and its caves. Then, again depending on the wind, we will be able to push on towards Punta San Vigilio, in search of other magnificent panoramic views.
Around 18:00 we will be back at the port of departure.

This activity is suitable from the age of 12.
A normal spirit of adaptation to life on a sailing boat is required.

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Theitinerary will be decided immediately after departure based on the weather, wind conditions and participants' suggestions. Sailing will be preferred even in poor wind conditions. There are no intermediate stops outside the port of departure. The maximum crew that may be on board is that permitted for the type of vessel, i.e. 9 persons including the skipper and any helpers.
The fee includes membership as an ordinary member of the amateur sports association La Vela per tutti, automatically and without any constraints or additional costs.
Those who suffer from allergies/intolerances or have special dietary requirements are kindly requested to inform us immediately after booking.
Participants will be able to use the services of the private departure port, such as toilets and showers, free of charge. Free parking is 100 metres from the port.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
