The Golfo dei Poeti and the Cinque Terre await you for a6-hour gozzo excursion. Sailing along the coast in the Ligurian Sea, you will admire the colourful villages of Portovenere, Riomaggiore and Vernazza overlooking the sea, discover the suggestive Byron cave and the Canneto waterfall, and then enjoy a Ligurian lunch on board.

What we will do
We will meet in Lerici, 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Once we have taken a seat on board our gozzo, we will head towards Portovenere, a characteristic village that we will be able to admire from the water with its typical colourful houses, and then head towards Grotta Byron. This natural cavity, some 20 metres deep, is one of the main attractions of the Golfo dei Poeti and owes its name to the English poet Byron, who used to come here to draw inspiration for his compositions.
The next stop will be at Le Rosse with a bathing stop of about 30 minutes, and then on to Canneto, with its suggestive natural waterfall, where we will stop for another bathing stop of about half an hour. After resuming navigation, we will skirt the Cinque Terre for photo opportunities: we will pass Riomaggiore and shortly after Vernazza, the most characteristic and photographed place of all the Cinque Terre.
In front of Vernazza we will stop for about an hour for our lunch on the boat (included), based on typical products such as focaccia and trofie al pesto, accompanied by local wine, beer, fruit juice and water.
After lunch we will resume navigation towards Monterosso, and then set off on our return journey, with another half-hour bathing stop halfway along the way.
The return to Lerici will be after a 6-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children up to 5 years old are free of charge: please inform us of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place every day from April to October with a minimum of 4 participants.
The itinerary may be modified according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
You will travel on a 6.5 m gozzo equipped with full cushions, awning, shower, ladder and table, suitable for up to 8 passengers.

During the stopover in Vernazza it is possible to disembark ashore with transfer to another boat, at a cost of €5 per person to be paid on site.
The place of departure can be reached by public transport (bus) or by car (parking available about 15 minutes' walk away).
On request, it is possible to embark in Portovenere or La Spezia: in the latter case, there is an extra cost of 15€ per person. If interested, please contact the organisers after booking confirmation.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Policy di cancellazione section.
