If Liguria were a film, this would be the scene not to be missed!
You’ll sail between Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, taking your time to enjoy the coastline, with a swim and lunch served right on board. A day out on a boat where your only decision will be where to look first!
What we will do
We’ll meet in La Spezia 10 minutes before the agreed time and board the boat to begin our day exploring the Ligurian coast from the sea.
Our first stop will be Portovenere, one of the most charming villages in the Gulf of Poets, which we’ll admire directly from the water whilst listening to some interesting facts about its history and taking the first photos of the trip.
We’ll then set sail towards the Cinque Terre, heading for Monterosso. On this stretch, we’ll pick up the pace a little to reach a stunning bay where we’ll drop anchor for the first swim of the day. Whilst we relax in the water, the crew will prepare lunch, which we’ll enjoy in comfort on board: caprese salad, prosciutto and melon, trofie with pesto, and a selection of focaccia and cheeses. Drinks such as prosecco, wine, soft drinks and water will be available on board.
After the break, we’ll continue exploring the Cinque Terre coastline from the sea – one of the most picturesque ways to admire this corner of Liguria. We’ll sail past Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, discovering hidden coves and views that can’t be reached from land.
During the day, we’ll have time for several swimming stops ( at least three, sea conditions permitting) , to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy the Mediterranean at a leisurely pace. If possible, we’ll also make a stop at Monterosso for around 45 minutes to go ashore and visit the village.
We’ll round off our tour by heading back to La Spezia, after a total of 6 hours on the water.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 3 and over : children must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with severe mobility impairments.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of 4 participants has been reached.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the skipper’s discretion.
You’ll be travelling aboard Giulietta, a luxurious 12-metre boat equipped with a toilet, shower, sun deck and shaded area. You must go barefoot on board and dogs are not permitted.
For the aperitif, alternatives are available for those with food allergies or intolerances: please contact the organisers in advance using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email. We cannot guarantee that food will be free from gluten for coeliacs.
Please do not bring coloured beach towels, as these may stain the boat’s cushions when wet with salt water: towels can be hired on board for €5 per person.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport or by car (there are pay-and-display car parks nearby) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
