And you, do you know the Magdalena Forest?
It is a natural setting characterised by plants growing in exotic or... on Ischia! Yes, because the heat of the volcanic soil has favoured their growth and you can spot them by taking part in our horseback ride around the Fondo d'Oglio crater, in the company of our equestrian guide.
A1-hour experience, overlooking the Bay of Naples!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Barano D'Ischia (NA). We will be welcomed at the stables by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this riding adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will meet the horses, complete the preparation, proceed with the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding. This first moment will take place within a fenced field to allow us to become familiar with the animal.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: after a short asphalt stretch, we will enter the Maddalena Forest where plants such as the "horsetooth", strawberry tree, holm oak and stone pine grow thanks to the warmth of the volcanic soil; not surprisingly, along the way we will ride around the Fondo d'Oglio crater. We will take a mostly flat route, which will give us a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples!
We will finally return to the meeting point; the experience will last a total of 1 hour. By purchasing the last available timetable, it will be possible to do the horseback ride at sunset!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult or have a signed release form.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience is available all year round.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The equestrian guide will lead the group in the saddle or on the ground with a harness, depending on the participants' need and level of experience.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the riding stables, which have a refreshment area. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding school.
