The Gulf of Asinara is one of those places you simply must visit at least once in your lifetime!
Spend half a day along the coast of Stintino and La Pelosa, amongst picture-perfect beaches and with the chance to spot dolphins. Take a dip, go for a swim and enjoy a snack featuring typical local produce.
What are you waiting for? Set sail on a gozzo tour and discover this little corner of paradise!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the meeting point in Stintino 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. There, a wonderful wooden gozzo with a lateen sail will be waiting for us.
After getting to know the crew, we’ll set sail and head for our first stop. We’ll set course for the Aragonese Tower, sailing along the stunning Pelosa beach.
Once past the tower, we’ll head towards Cala dello Squalo, where we’ll stop for our first swim. We’ll then continue on, passing Capo Falcone until we reach Cala della Luna, where we’ll stop again for a swim whilst admiring the marvellous cliffs in this area. On board, you’ll be offered a light snack featuring local specialities and a glass of chilled Vermentino.
We’ll then begin our return journey, stopping for one final swim in the deep blue waters of Pelosa before returning to the port of Stintino.
The total duration of the experience is 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
If participants cannot swim or suffer from seasickness, please inform the skipper.
The boat is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to request assistance with boarding.
Other information
The excursion is available from June to mid-October and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Depending on the number of participants, the tour will use either an 8-metre motorised gozzo (for 7 people) or a 7-metre one (for 6 people). Both are wooden boats with a lateen sail, equipped with an icebox, a sun awning, life jackets and the essential first-aid kit.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are allowed on board provided the organisers are notified in advance , but they may not disembark on the island of Asinara.
There is a pay-and-display car park near the harbour where you can leave your car before setting sail; the boarding point is also within walking distance of the centre of Stintino.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
