Full description
Spend a day in the middle of the green Veio Park, a few kilometres from Rome, and regenerate yourself with thepositive energy of horses!
Together with an equestrian guide, you will ride on nature trails to Lake Martignano, through woods, pastures, waterfalls, streams and historical ruins.
Experience total harmony and connection with the environment, have fun riding a special animal and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation in nature. Lunch is included!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking at the Campagnano di Roma stables.
The equestrian guide will welcome us and introduce us to our companions, some magnificent, tame and perfectly trained horses. We will have an introductory briefing, a small review of the basic rules of horse riding, and mount the saddle to set off on our excursion.
We will ride along quiet paths through the green Sorbo Valley. We will cross plains with grazing animals, forests of oak, chestnut and maple trees, waterfalls and streams, with the possibility of riding as far as Lake Martignano if conditions permit.
For lunch we will be guests of a kiosk or farmhouse depending on the season, which will serve us a menu with first course, second course and side dish (drinks not included).
In the afternoon we will ride again to reach other points of interest within the Veio Park. In total, we will spend 4 hours on horseback (2 before lunch and 2 after). Around 16:00 we will return to the riding stables.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. You can participate from the age of 10 and up and it is preferable to have a minimum of experience on horseback. The weight limit is 100 kg.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, even if not participating, until the end of the activity.

This activity can be carried out all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The menu is based on products and dishes that vary according to the season. Drinks are excluded. Options are available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform them.
Thedeparture time may vary depending on the time of year and/or the organisational requirements of the riding school and will be confirmed after booking.
It is not possible to bring backpacks or bags on excursions. Horses are equipped with saddlebags in which to place small personal items such as mobile phones, wallets and keys.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but a free shuttle service is available from Campagnano Romano and a paid shuttle service is available from Rome at a cost of €50.00 each way: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
