Full description
Set sail with friends and family on your own boat for aprivate full-day excursion to the Argentario.
Departing from Porto Santo Stefano, you'll sail past Cala Grande, Cala del Gesso and Cala del Purgatorio with their outcropping rocks smoothed by water and wind, crystal-clear sea and tongues of fine sand. You will then sail along the picturesque beaches of Isola Rossa and Acqua Dolce.
The tour includes several stops for swimming, during which you can isolate yourself from the world around you and let the beauty of the seabed captivate you thanks to the snorkelling kits provided.
In the middle of the day you'll also enjoy a lunch on board, and water, wine, and soft drinks are provided during the cruise.
What we will do
The appointment is at Porto Santo Stefano (GR), where I will be waiting for you to take your place on the boat. Once you and your group are seated on board, we will set off at 9.30 am to discover the unique charm of the Argentario.
We will visit the most beautiful coves in the area, from Cala Grande to Cala del Gesso. The former is the largest inlet on the coast and is dominated by the Argentario Promontory, while the latter is considered the most evocative for its crystal-clear seabed, Spanish watchtower and views of the Argentarola islet.
We will then allow ourselves to be enchanted by Cala del Purgatorio with its knoll called "Bocca dell'Inferno". We will then skirt the small Isola Rossa and the Acqua Dolce beach, so called because in the past seven streams of fresh water flowed into it. It is a beautiful sandy beach with pebbles and rocks emerging from the blue waters.
There are several bathing stops at the most picturesque spots during navigation. Stops range from 30 to 60 minutes and can be arranged according to your needs and preferences.
In the middle of the day you will be served lunch on board (included), which includes a hot fish dish, freshly prepared. Natural water, sparkling water, white wine, red wine, coke and orangeade are also available.
We will return to the starting point at around 17:00 hours, after a tour lasting about 8 hours.

Other information
The tour takes place from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is intended for private groups of up to 12 participants.
On request and subject to availability, there is the possibility of embarkation from Porto Ercole. If you wish to depart from here, please notify the organiser after the booking confirmation.
The boats available are between 10 and 12 metres long and can take up to 12 participants. All boats are modern and comfortable and are equipped with a cabin, WC, sunbathing area and a seating area in the shade.
Dogs are allowed on board.
In case of food allergies and intolerances, please contact the staff in advance to request a dedicated menu. The option for vegetarians includes pasta with pesto sauce.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
