Boat tours: what to see in Argentario

Argentario is an ideal destination for enthusiasts of outdoor activities. Based in Orbetello, you can go hiking and mountain-biking or visit the WWF-protected Lagoon, famous for the presence of pink flamingos. When it comes to boat tours, you can embark from Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, at either end of the promontory.

Going a boat tour to Argentario means immersing yourself in a marine environment of rare beauty. The rugged coastline offers a wealth of picturesque inlets, bays and coves. These morphological features make Argentario an ideal site for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Cala Grande, Cala Piccola, Cala del Gesso, and Cala del Bove are just some of the bays found along the coast. They are all characterized by clear water and lush vegetation. In order not to miss these beauties – some of which are not accessible by land – a boat tour is an absolutely recommended choice for those wishing to visit Argentario.

Argentario boat tours: how much do they cost?

The price for a boat tour to Argentario depends mainly on the duration and type of trip. For example, a full-day catamaran boat tour costs 70 euros per person, with lunch and open bar included. 16 Aug 2026 | Dinghy excursion and snorkelling at the Argentario

A lovely afternoon’s snorkelling

My first snorkelling experience – a thoroughly enjoyable one. Nello provided us with everything we needed: a mask, fins and a wetsuit. You can admire the beautiful scenery from the dinghy as you travel. Nello is very passionate about his work and gave us lots of information both on how to use the equipment and on what you can see whilst snorkelling. A light snack was included. A really lovely afternoon.

Full steam ahead 😉

We were very pleased – a lovely day.nEnchanting places. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent – well done to the chef and the whole kitchen team. Definitely a mini-cruise well worth taking.nVery well organised, everything went according to plan. It also offers a wonderful opportunity to get to know people and socialise for those who wish to. The stunning sea, with its little coves where you can go for a swim, puts you at peace with the world😍nDefinitely recommended!

24 Aug 2026 | Day sailing along the Argentario coast or Uccellina Park with lunch

A relaxing day

A memorable day, spent in pleasant company sailing along the coast of the Maremma Park from Talamone to Cala di Forno. A fantastic, fun crew, with Captain Roland allowing me to take the helm and sail his yacht.

17 Aug 2026 | Mini motorboat cruise to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri with lunch

A unique experience

Starting with the organisation, which was truly fantastic, to the crew, who were kind and helpful, and finally – though not in order of importance – the food, which was excellent: a scampi risotto for over 50 people, cooked al dente and absolutely delicious, and the fried food was perfect.... In short, it’s hard to find a fault – in fact, there aren’t any at all. I’d recommend it for all the places we visited – Giglio and Giannutri – for the sea, and certainly for the magnificent experience as a whole. Well done!
