Did you know that in Sardinia there’s an island where the hosts are adorable little white donkeys? Welcome to the Asinara Nature Reserve!
Set sail from Stintino for a full day’s trip on a sailing boat. Between a swim and a spot of snorkelling, you might even spot some dolphins, before going ashore to explore the island’s unspoilt nature.
Experience an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Sardinian coast, with lunch on board!
What we will do
We are due to set off 15 minutes before the time stated at the meeting point in Stintino (SS).
After about half an hour’s sail, we’ll make our first stop for a swim, and you’ll be able to use the equipment provided for snorkelling. We’ll have plenty of time to splash about in the crystal-clear water and observe the marine life that inhabits the seabed.
We’ll then set off again towards another stunning bay. Here, too, we’ll be able to go for a swim before returning on board to enjoy a seafood lunch (the menu includes a starter, a main course, local wine, Sardinian desserts, water, fruit, myrtle liqueur and coffee) .
After lunch, we’ll head to Cala Reale and stop ashore to enjoy a walk in the countryside and see the white donkeys, the island’s symbol. Those who wish to do so can also visit an environmental conservation centre where they can admire the ‘caretta caretta’ sea turtles (the visit is optional and requires a contribution of €2. 50 per person) .
Before returning to Stintino, we’ll make one final stop for a swim. If we’re lucky enough, whilst sailing we may spot the dolphins that live year-round in the waters of the gulf.
The trip will last a total of 7 hours.

The activity takes place from mid-April to October and is confirmed once at least two participants have signed up.
The excursion takes place on board a sailing boat that can carry up to 11 people and is equipped with a toilet.
The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
