Full description
Spend a day in an inflatable boat discovering San Felice Circeo by sailing on turquoise waters and visiting its wonderful caves.
In the company of an experienced skipper you will depart from Terracina to some of the caves that characterise the Circeo Park, a jewel of sustainability.
During the tour you will enjoy a refreshing swim, be lulled by the waves, and enjoy a delicious cold pasta lunch. It will be a special day away from crowded beaches and discovering fascinating sights.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at 9 a.m. in Porto Badino, Terracina (LT). The captain will welcome us on the dinghy and, after seating us, we will set off to discover the Circeo caves.
During the morning we will encounter the famous Capo Circeo lighthouse, built in 1866, and continue on to the Batterie di Punta Rossa, a stretch of cliffs on the Circeo promontory that overlooks transparent emerald waters.
We will encounter some of the secret caves of the Circeo National Park, such as the Grotta del Presepe (Crib Cave), which has an enormous pillar and limestone decorations inside that suggest animals made of wax. We will be enchanted by the Grotta dei Prigionieri covered with smooth white pebbles and named after a soldier who found refuge here during World War II.
At lunchtime we will enjoy a cold pasta dish cooked by the skipper especially for us.
For the duration of the tour we will be able to dive from the dinghy to admire these fascinating places up close, and snorkelling enthusiasts will be able to borrow a kit from the boat to admire the seabed.
Theexcursion to Circeo lasts about 7 hours. Return to Porto Badino is scheduled for about 16:00.

The activity is open to all, without restrictions or age limits. Children up to 2 years of age participate free of charge.

The tour takes place from June to September on the days indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 8 participants.
The boat available for the tour is a 9-metre dinghy with a removable awning.
