Join us for an exciting dinghy tour to discover Scala dei Turchi, a white marl cliff overlooking the sea along the coast of Realmonte.
You will depart from San Leone, in the province of Agrigento, and sail along the coast in the company of a skipper, who will show you the wonders of the place. You will visit the Maddalusa beach and the Bay of Chaos as far as Realmonte, where you will admire the beautiful Scala dei Turchi.
Get ready to dive into crystal-clear waters, enjoy the breathtaking panorama, and toast with your crew!
What we will do
Departure is scheduled at the time selected during the booking process to the marina of San Leone, in the province of Agrigento. Here we will be met by the skipper and, after we have all boarded the dinghy, we will set off in the direction of the Scala dei Turchi.
We will sail along the coast enjoying the wonderful landscapes and sea of Sicily. We will pass the legendary Akragas River and arrive at the Maddalusa beach and the Bay of Chaos, so dear to the writer Pirandello.
Passing Porto Empedocle we will enter the most fascinating part of the excursion, as in 10 minutes we will sail along the entire town arriving in Realmonte, where we will be greeted by the fantastic Scala dei Turchi. Here the water will become crystal clear and limpid, giving us unique emotions.
Moving further west, we will see the Madonnina Bay and the Rocca Gucciarda; those who wish can take a dip in these shallow waters, which are also ideal for children. We will then visit the Pietre Cadute beach and the small beaches of Siculiana and Giallonardo.
And on the way back, we will toast with chips, a glass of wine or soft drinks, together with our crew!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 3½ hours in total.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance before the activity starts.
The activity takes place from May to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Depending on the size of the group and the availability of the boats, we will be on board the Tecno T-460, an almost 6-metre 40 hp motorised dinghy, or the Tecno Noisy, a 9-metre 150 hp Suzuki motorised dinghy. The dinghies are equipped with a canopy.
During the excursion it is possible to take a 15-minute ride on board the towable dinghy at an extra cost of €10 to be paid locally.
Small dogs are welcome on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
