We have a question for you: which Italian location is known as'the city of two seas'?
Precisely Taranto, and you will find out why by taking part in our dinghy excursion: our skipper will accompany you to discover the city and its islands, sailing in the Mare Piccolo and Mare Grande. The navigation will be accompanied by stories and curiosities to get to know the area better.
A5-hour experience that will end with an aperitif on board in the beautiful natural setting of the Cheradi Islands!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Talsano (TA). We will be welcomed by the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure to discover Taranto and its surroundings!
Once all passengers have been boarded, the navigation will begin: we will sail along the coastline as far as Capo San Vito, and then enter Taranto's Mare Grande. We will pass under the scenic San Francesco di Paola Bridge to enter the Mare Piccolo, with a panoramic view of the old city of Taranto: here we will be able to spot the arsenal, the millenary springs known as "citri", the characteristic mussel farms and the islet of Taranto.
We will then head for the Cheradi Islands, San Paolo and San Pietro. It is on the latter that we will land for a 2-hour shore break to spend at leisure: a snorkelling session is a must! Meanwhile, an aperitif (included) of chips, peanuts, taralli and assorted snacks accompanied by a glass of prosecco will be served on board.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 5 hours.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
