A dinner that warms your heart. .. but also your hands and feet!
At an altitude of 2170 metres, on the Vialattea ski slopes, a typical evening in a mountain chalet awaits you, accessible only by snowcat.
Enjoy an excellent dinner with an Alpine menu, with a choice of 'Polentata menu' or 'Chalet menu'. A wonderful opportunity to share good food and relaxing moments as a couple, with friends or family!
What we will do
The meeting is at 7. 00 pm at the meeting point in Sauze d’Oulx (TO). There, a snowcat will be waiting for you (ticket not included) to take you up to the mountain refuge, on a journey of around 20 minutes along snow-covered trails.
Up there, at an altitude of 2, 170 metres in the heart of the Vialattea ski area, Chalet Capannina will welcome you, nestled in the tranquillity of the high mountains: a cosy, family-run chalet with a dining room decorated in traditional Alpine style.
When booking, you can choose your preferred set menu (the same for all diners) :
- Polentata Menu: a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses with honey and jams, a tasting of polenta with four different sauces (mushrooms, pickled vegetables, sausage and vegetarian) , homemade dessert, wine, water and coffee included.
- Chalet Menu: a platter of traditional cold cuts and cheeses served with honey and jam; tajarin with sautéed porcini mushrooms and sausage, or pumpkin and amaretti risotto ; oven-roasted pork shank with potatoes or rack of lamb with red berry sauce and potatoes, a choice of house dessert, wine, water and coffee included.
At the end of dinner, the snowcat will take you back down to the valley along with the rest of the group: with a full stomach and a happy heart! The estimated duration of the experience is around 4 hours, including dinner and transport.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. For children under 12, a special children’s menu is available, comprising: lasagne, a cutlet with chips, a dessert and water.
The snowcat is not suitable for carrying people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

The experience is available from 6 December to 12 April and is confirmed subject to a minimum of 5 participants.
Please note! Return transport by snowcat is not included and costs €25. 00 per person, to be paid in cash on site.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal dishes are available: if you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.
Small and medium-sized dogs are permitted for a supplement of approximately €20–25, payable on site.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free on-street parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
