Would you like toexperience scuba diving but are a little hesitant about the idea of scuba diving? Never fear! We have the solution for you: anintroductory scuba dive in the pool.
This experience allows you to experience for yourself what it feels like during a scuba dive, wearing all diving equipment and breathing underwater with your tank and regulator. Doing it in the pool provides the advantage of being in a more protected environment, where everyone can feel comfortable during their first experience.
With the help of experienced instructors, you will take your first steps underwater, become familiar with the equipment, find out if the activity is right for you and, if so, continue with an in-depth course to obtain the Open Water Diver licence, which allows you to dive in the sea.
What we will do
The activity takes place at a diving centre in Rimini, where we will first have a briefing in the classroom to better prepare ourselves, also on a theoretical level, for our first underwater experience. The lesson lasts about 20 minutes. Afterwards we will drive to one of the affiliated swimming pools in the area (using our own or the organiser's means, depending on the number of participants).
Depending on the time of year, the pool where we will dive may be outdoors or indoors. Once at the facility, we will put on ourequipment and dive for about 30 minutes. Together with theinstructor, we will do breathing tests with the regulator in our mouths, move around in the water to become familiar with the fins, and simulate the scuba diving experience overall.
The activity lasts about 1 hour. At the end of the dive we will return to the diving centre or, if we prefer, we will be free to leave independently after handing over our equipment.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to everyone who is in good health and able to swim. The minimum age for participation is 15 years.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
You can use the showers and changing rooms at the diving centre or the pools where you dive.
The activity can be booked throughout the year at the times indicated. However, the times may vary slightly depending on the availability of the affiliated pools. The instructor will send you the time confirmation a few days in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
