Ever tried breathing underwater? Spoiler: it's addictive!
At Costa Paradiso, you can experience your first dive in the world of diving with a Discovery Scuba Diving and without needing a licence! In 2 hours, together with a certified instructor, you will discover how to experience the activity safely and dive to a maximum of 12 metres.
Groupers, octopuses, moray eels, bream, damselfish: life underwater is just waiting to be explored!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time, at the meeting point in Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola (SS) .
Waiting for us will be the instructor, who will guide us step by step in this first underwater adventure. We will start by registering and handing over the PADI training material, which is available in all languages. By means of a smartphone we will be able to access all the theoretical information that the instructor will shortly present to us.
We will move to the operating site, a few metres from the meeting point, where we will receive our equipment (wetsuit, GAV, regulator, snorkel, mask, socks and fins - included) and take part in a briefing, during which we will find out how to breathe correctly underwater and which safety rules to follow. We will then put on our wetsuits and prepare for our entry into the sea, which will take place from the shore.
Once in the water, we will do some basic exercises to familiarise ourselves with the underwater environment, such as taking off and putting back on the mask and compensating during the descent.
Once we have gained confidence, we will begin the actual dive, which will last about 30 minutes and will take us to a maximum depth of 12 metres. We will swim among spectacular rocky seabeds, rich in coral and marine life, and encounter groupers, octopus, moray eels, bream and damselfish.
It will be a unique adventure, giving us the thrill of exploring the underwater world for the first time!
The experience will last a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 10. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate in the activity, it is not necessary to know how to swim, but it is required to be comfortable with water. The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time divers. No licence is required.
The experience is not accessible to people who are pregnant or have asthma/cold. In addition, a good state of health is required in order to participate. A medical certificate is only compulsory in the event of health problems. Otherwise, it is only strongly recommended.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October. We recommend contacting the organisers 1-2 days before the activity to check the feasibility, depending on weather conditions.
Caution! Scuba diving within 24 hours prior to a flight is not recommended.
During the activity, each instructor will be assigned a maximum of 3 participants.
Complete equipment is included (wetsuit, buoyancy aids, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel and socks) . You can use your own equipment for the same price. Please contact the organisers in advance at the contact details on your booking confirmation email to inform them of your height, weight and shoe size before the activity.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the diving centre. There are changing rooms with showers and toilets on site, as well as a storage room for valuables.
On-site parking is available free of charge. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
