If you have always wanted to move underwater like a real diver with whoever you want and wherever you want, don't miss the Open Water Diver course in Costa Smeralda.
This certification programme is recognised worldwide and combines theory and practice lessons in the water. You will acquire over at least 4 half days all the information you need to safely dive to a depth of 18 metres.
You will learn how to behave in every situation and how to use the equipment correctly thanks to qualified instructors and state-of-the-art teaching methods and, at the end of the course, you will be awarded the Open Water Diver licence to be able to dive all over the world.

What we will do
The appointment is at 15.00 at the diving centre in Cannigione, in the province of Sassari. On arrival we will be welcomed by theinstructor who will follow us for the duration of the course. The course takes place over four lessons of four hours each.
The first two lessons will be divided as follows: a first part of theory (1 ½ hours) and a second part of practice in the water (2 ½ hours). The third and fourth lessons, on the other hand, will be practice only.
Departing from the diving centre, we will reach Punta Battistoni by rubber dinghy, a small sheltered bay in which we will learn the basics of diving in order to swim in the sea bed safely and calmly. The instructor will hand us thenecessary equipment (included) and explain how to use it properly.
The teaching methods will be modern and state-of-the-art and will enable us to acquire all the skills necessary to dive on our own, up to a depth of 18 metres.
At the end of the course we will be awarded the SSI Open Water Diver certification.
Who it is aimed at
The course is aimed at those with good aquatic skills. The minimum age required is 10 years.
Other information
The course is bookable from April to mid-October and includes at least 4 lessons. You do not necessarily have to do the 4 lessons on four consecutive days, but you will agree on the next session together with the instructor according to your and the school's availability.
An extra fee of 50€ (to be paid on site) is required to collect the certification.
It is strongly discouraged to dive 24 hours before an aeroplane flight as, due to the lower atmospheric pressure on board the plane, nitrogen, which may have remained in the body, may form bubbles within the tissues that can obstruct blood flow.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
