Full description
Dog and bird of prey: these wonderful creatures, however different, are able to cooperate and respect each other.
Thedog instructor and the guide-fancier will tell you about it; we just tell you that it will be an opportunity to learn more about the animal world and open your mind. This experience will be an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your four-legged friend and fall in love with the art of falconry!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Torricella Verzate (PV). You will be greeted by thedog trainer and the guide-falconist who will accompany you on this adventure.
The experience will begin with thedog activity. In the company of the instructor, it will be an opportunity to learn and have fun in the company of your four-legged friend: you can spend the hour doing educational, sporting or search training using the numerous tools available. After only 1 hour you will already see results!
And now it's time to say goodbye to your dog, for whom a dedicated space will be reserved, to get to know Harris's buzzard. You will spend the next hour in the company of the buzzard and the falconer-guide. You will stroll through the natural surroundings admiring the free-flying bird of prey and listening to atheoretical introduction to the art of falconry. At the end of the experience, you will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the Harris's buzzard, experiencing the unique thrill of the fist call or the throwing of food in flight!
You will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 2; children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
The activity venue is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.
Other information
Attention! This experience is exclusive, i.e. reserved for singles, couples or private groups of up to 5 persons.
Attention! During the walk with the bird of prey, the dog will not be allowed to participate and will remain in a dedicated box within the boarding house owned by the operator.
The experience takes place all year round on Saturdays only.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
