Is focaccia or our donkeys sweeter?
You will be the one to tell by taking part in our donkey walk in Genoa: thanks to our guide, you will get to know and interact with these amazing animals. And together you will venture along a scenic route along the Riviera di Levante.
An experience of over 1 hour, enriched by a typical Ligurian snack!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Genoa. On site, you will meet the guide who will accompany you on this adventure, reserved for you and other participants in your company.
On your arrival you will make the acquaintance of the real stars of the experience: the donkeys Matilde and Clarabella! You will get to know the animal by brushing and cuddling it, and in no time you will be best friends.
And here you are ready for your walk with the donkeys: you will venture over the heights of Sant'Ilario, entering the forest until you reach the top of Monte Giugo from which you will enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Riviera di Levante as far as Punta Chiappa. And if the sky is particularly clear, you will even sight Corsica!
You will finally return to the meeting point where you will find a typical Ligurian snack waiting for you: focaccia, salami, cheese and other local specialities for adults; bread, jam and homemade cakes for children. The menu may vary according to availability on the day.
The experience lasts a total of about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The experience is not accessible to persons with disabilities.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to October.
Two donkeys take part in the experience and will be ridden alternately by the participants.

Dogs on a leash are allowed.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
