If Donkey has always been your favourite Shrek character, we have good news for you!
With this experience in the hills of Sanremo, you can set off on a 1. 5-hour walk together with two very sweet and friendly donkeys! You will learn how they communicate and how to lead them with the lunghina, and then walk alongside them along the charming mule tracks leading to the villages in the area.
Donkeys don't talk here. .. but they are irresistible nonetheless!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Taggia (IM) . Our guide will be waiting for us, who will welcome us at his farm, an oasis of peace immersed in Ligurian nature.
First of all, we will meet Margherita and Brina, the two donkeys who live on the farm and who will accompany us on this outdoor adventure. The guide will teach us how to interact with these animals, explaining how to interpret their every signal in order to create a relationship of mutual trust.
Once we have become familiar with our new friends, we will participate in a short lesson on ground handling to learn how to handle the donkey correctly and how to move in tune with the donkeys. At that point, we will set off on a walk of about 3 km, with an altitude difference of 110 m, along the mule tracks that criss-cross the hills of Sanremo.
Stopping from time to time to appreciate the view and discover a few curiosities about our fellow travellers, we will go as far as the village of Bussana Vecchia, and then return to the starting point.
We will end the experience with a moment of relaxation on the farm and some final pampering of the donkeys!
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, including about 1. 5 hours of walking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 6. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult up to the age of 13. From the age of 14 onwards, a signed release form is sufficient.
The experience is suitable for people with cognitive disabilities, while it is not accessible for people with motor disabilities. Please contact the activity organisers in advance at the contact details on your booking confirmation email to inform them of your attendance.

The experience takes place throughout the year and is confirmed once the minimum number of 3 participants has been reached.
Please note: the walk will be conducted with 2 donkeys and participants will take turns leading them. It will not be possible to ride on the donkeys.
Leashed dogs are permitted.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. However, it is possible to get to Bussana by public transport and to request a pick-up with a private mini-van in advance by contacting the guide at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming your booking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
