Sea baptism with double dive in Camogli

We already know that this aquatic discipline will become your favourite, so why not start with a double scuba dive!

That's what awaits you by taking part in our sea baptism: in the company of a diving instructor, you will first take part in a shore dive in Camogli and then a rubber dinghy dive in the Cinque Terre National Park.

Each dive will last 40 minutes, which will be just the beginning of a new passion!

What we will do

The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Camogli (GE). We will be welcomed by thediving instructor who will accompany us on this double underwater dive, also known as'sea baptism'!

Having gathered all the participants, a briefing will take place during which we will be given information on clothing, equipment and the course of the experience, such as the finning techniques that we will put into practice in the water. We will receive our equipment and wear it as instructed.

And here we are ready for our entry into the water from the shore: we will be followed by a diving instructor (every 2 people) who will guide us on our first 40-minute dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres. Here we will be able to encounter damselfish, bream, sponges and other species characteristic of the Ligurian Sea fauna.

Back on land, we will proceed with changing our equipment and then continue with our second 40-minute dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres, again with the diving instructor. Here we will be able to encounter barracudas, groupers and other inhabitants of the seabed in the beautiful Ligurian marine park .

Back on board the dinghy, we will finally return to the meeting point for a debriefing in the company of the instructor. The total experience will last 7 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult to sign a release form.

Swimming skills are required to participate in the activity.

The experience is prohibited for pregnant women and persons suffering from pulmonary problems, asthma and epilepsy.

Other information

Attention! It is not possible to fly during the 24 hours following the experience.

The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed once a minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.

On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport; in the latter case, you are kindly asked to contact the instructor at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your arrival by public transport.

Changing rooms with toilets, showers and lockers for storing personal items are available on site.

Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point, which has beaches and refreshment facilities nearby.
