Drifting course on asphalt at Misano World Circuit

Drifting, a spectacular art born in the streets of Japan, awaits you on the asphalt of the Misano World Circuit. It will not just be a speed challenge, but a daring dance with your car, where control skills and driving aesthetics will become a true spectacle.

The 4- or 8-hour course (to be chosen at the time of booking) will begin with a classroom part, then move on to practice. Together with an experienced instructor, you will learn how to drive your car in a drift and gain more and more confidence behind the wheel.

What we will do

The appointment is at 8.30 a.m . at theMisano Autodrome. After a warm welcome and the presentation of the team of instructors, we will dive into the exciting world of drifting.

The course will start with some theory: through an interactive and multimedia course of about 40 minutes in the classroom, we will tackle some crucial aspects, such as the dynamics of the car and the role of tyres. We will learn drifting techniques and strategies, preparing for action in the field.

Then we'll move on to practice with four 10-minute driving rounds, taking turns on the cars in rotation. We will get behind the wheel alongside an instructor and carry out targeted exercises on tracks marked out by pins, such as power oversteer on a bend and 360° island on a forecourt.

After a free lunch break, we will return to the track from 14:30 for four more 10-minute rounds. Here we will take on more complex challenges, such as corner anticipation and 2-corner drifting, turning driving into a fluid and controlled dance.

The course will end with a final briefing, where we can share our experiences and clarify any doubts. Around 6 p.m. we will prepare for the farewells and receive our participation diplomas, a tangible souvenir of this day of intense emotions.

The course will last either 4 or 8 hours, to be chosen at the time of booking.

The activity is available from May to November on the dates indicated in the calendar (subject to updating).

When booking, it will be possible to choose between the 'half-day' course (4 hours and 4 driving sh ifts) or the 'full-day' course (8 hours and 8 driving shifts). For those who choose the 4-hour course, the activity will end at around 13:30, while for the others it will continue in the afternoon after the lunch break. In agreement with the instructor, it will be possible to divide the full-day course into 2 half-day courses, to be held on different dates.

The cars used for the course will be BMW 328 i 192 hp, Nissan 350Z, Subaru Legacy 200 hp or Mercedes CLK 320 (in rotation, subject to availability).

During the 8-hour course, you can organise your own lunch break by bringing a packed lunch or go to the self-service restaurant at the Misano Circuit.

Itis permitted to take photos and videos during the activity.

Accompanying persons are welcome; dogs on a leash may also enter the circuit.
