Full description
If you love adventure, this is the excursion for you! Thanks to the presence of our guide, even if you have no previous experience, you will be able to visit one of the most beautiful canyons on the east coast of Sardinia, Codula Fuili, from the inside.
Equipped with helmet, harness and descenders, you will walk in total safety along the bed of a dry river, facing jumps, bottlenecks, abseiling and enjoying an absolutely fascinating naturalistic panorama that will leave you open-mouthed.
It will be 7 and a half hours of pure emotion!
What we will do
We will meet at 8.30 a. m. in the village of Cala Gonone (NU). Here we will meet the guide who will accompany us on our day of exploration, we will have a short briefing to hand over the equipment and some explanations about the route.
From Cala Gonone in a couple of minutes by car we will reach Cala Fuili, where we will park, and put on our rucksacks to begin the hike. A steep flight of steps downhill will take us to the beach from where we take the path to Cala Luna, which will lead us to the canyon of Codula Fuili.
After about 1 km, a sharp right turn will invite us to climb a panoramic slope that, skirting the sea, will give us a breathtaking view. We will then reach the marvellous Toddeitto sheepfold, recently renovated, where we will stop for about 30 minutes to refresh ourselves and recharge our batteries.
We will then start walking again on a slight descent to reach the beginning of the canyon. From this point onwards we will continue walking inside the now dry river bed, tackling jumps, bottlenecks and peculiar passages up to several suggestive rope abseils, the highest being 25 metres.
We will then walk along a flat stretch through a forest of singular beauty, which will take us back to the starting beach in about 45 minutes. The total duration of the activity will be 7½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is open to everyone from the age of 18. No specific technical skills are required, but it is necessary not to be afraid of heights.

The activity is available all year round, every day, except in May when it only takes place at weekends.
Attention! Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.
The minimum number of participants to confirm the excursion is 6.
The excursion is conducted exclusively in Italian.
