Full description
The perfect place to get your spirit of adventure going? The wildest Sulcis. In this 'dry' version of canyoning, no water jumps, but lots of verticality!
In the company of an expert guide who will follow you step by step for about four hours, you will tackle a trek among old mines and rope abseils that will get straight to the point: take you beyond the usual limit!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Gonnesa (SU). We will be welcomed by the guide who will provide us with all the necessary equipment: helmet, full harness and ropes.
After a technical briefing to understand how to tackle the abseils safely, we will set off towards the start of the route on Monte San Giovanni.
An approximately 40-minute trek along an easy path, surrounded by ancient mining scenery and views of the Gulf of Lion awaits us.
After that, the canyon proper will begin, which we will cross by tackling six rope descents and which will take us over a total height difference of 200 metres.
The maximum vertical will be 28 metres, but each abseil will be tackled calmly, following the guide's instructions and respecting the time of each member of the group.
Once the technical section is completed, we will close the loop with a walk of about 15 minutes, still on an easy path, to return to the starting point.
The activity will last about 4 hours in total, including briefing, route and walking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
Good physical fitness is required to participate and it is essential not to suffer from vertigo.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, as the activity is entirely 'dry' (without water).

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants. In the case of smaller groups, a customised fee can be agreed upon: contact us to request your quote.
The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number of participants and their level of experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, so arriving by car is recommended.
There are no changing rooms, so we suggest you arrive in suitable clothing for the activity (preferably comfortable trousers and walking shoes).
Personal items can be left in the car, which will be parked near the starting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
