Full description
Set off on a 2-hour e-bike tour through the rolling hills between Assisi and Spello to discover one of the most fascinating and well-known areas ofUmbria.
From Assisi, you will pedal along a 15 km route that, due to its short distance and very slight altimetrical difficulties, is within everyone's reach. Moreover, the electric bikes will allow you to pedal effortlessly, so that you can fully enjoy the beauty of Umbria.
A local guide will accompany you along the ancient route of the olive trees, where the artistic and cultural beauties of Assisi and Spello meet the fascinating landscapes of Monte Subasio and the Foligno plain. On the return journey, you can stop at a wine cellar for a tasting of typical Umbrian products.
What we will do
The meeting point is near Assisi, where we will meet the bike guide and the rest of our small group (up to 8 participants). After handing over the e-bikes, we will have a short briefing on the route and set off in the direction of Spello.
From Santa Maria degli Angeli, we will ride along the brick road leading to the Rivotorto Sanctuary. After that, we will arrive on the Via degli ulivi, a beautiful route with a dirt road. Along this route we will be surrounded by olive groves and will skirt the Monte Subasio Park all the way.
We will then arrive in the upper part of Spello, an ancient Roman colony that still preserves precious architectural evidence of the era, such as the Amphitheatre and the Roman Domus. Near the village we will stop for a tasting of typical products, such as oils and wines, in a wine cellar with which we have an agreement (the tasting is included in the fee).
We will then pass through Porta Montanara and leave the village behind us and take the road to Villa Fidelia, our last stop. The route is 15 km and runs along cycle paths and dirt roads in one of the most beautiful and famous areas of Umbria.
The activity lasts a total of 2½ hours and ends with the return to the starting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
