Full description
An entire valley dedicated to viticulture, with vineyards interspersed with small villages with stone houses. It sounds like fantasy but it is the magical reality of theOltrepò Pavese, which you can discover with this fantastic one-day experience.
Come to the province of Pavia and explore the world of wine production by visiting a vineyard and a wine cellar, then be enraptured by the flavour of the local wines during a tasting accompanied by tasty appetisers.
Finally, rent an e-bike and set off on a tour of the surrounding valleys and villages. When you think you have arrived at the perfect location, open your picnic basket and have lunch surrounded by nature.
What we will do
The appointment is at 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Santa Maria della Versa (PV), where the wine expert guide will be waiting.
The first hour together will be divided into two parts, both of approximately 30 minutes: one will be devoted to visiting the vineyard and the other to visiting the winery. The guide will give you an overview of the surrounding area and explain how the grapes are grown and the wine is made.
At that point, you will be seated for a tasting of four typical Oltrepò Pavese wines(Metodo Classico, Bonarda, Riesling and Sangue di Giuda) accompanied by cold meats, cheeses, vegetable flan and tart.
At the end of the tasting, which lasts about an hour, it will be time to take your e-bike, jump in the saddle and venture out on your own along one of the many recommended routes. In addition to the e-bike, you will be given a picnic basket (included) full of delicacies: sandwiches with meat, vegetables and cheese, fruit tart, water, a bottle of wine and eco-compostable crockery.
The e-bike will be returned by 5 p.m.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 4 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Wine tasting is reserved for those over the age of 18.
Other information
The activity is available from Wednesday to Sunday and every public holiday from mid-March to the end of October. It is important to return the e-bike by 5 p.m.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. There is ample parking at the venue, which can also accommodate camper vans and minibuses.
The tasting includes four typical Oltrepò Pavese wines and snacks such as cheese, cold cuts, vegetable flan and tart. The picnic basket, on the other hand, includes two sandwiches with meat, vegetables and cheese, fruit tart, water, a bottle of wine for every 2 people and eco-compostable tableware.
In the event of allergies, intolerances or vegetarian/vegan diets , it is possible to request an alternative (both for the tasting and lunch) via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email. Children under 18 and teetotalers can request a fruit juice as a non-alcoholic alternative on site.
Dogs are allowed. It is possible to request a dog trolley (included) to be attached to the e-bike by contacting the hotel at the above-mentioned contact details.
The e-bike model used is theAtalas B Cross. The facility has 2 e-bikes for children (usable from 4 years of age) and does not provide child seats.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
