If you love thwarted love stories, you absolutely must discover the legend of Pizzomunno. But even better will be admiring it at sunset, while sipping a glass of prosecco!
Set sail from Vieste for a 3-hour evening boat tour along the Gargano coast: you will sail past sea caves and hidden bays, until you reach the legendary white monolith, symbol of a love that defies time.
A perfect way to end the day in relaxation, with a toast that tastes of Puglia!
What we will do
The rendezvous will be in Vieste (FG), 30 minutes before the time indicated in the booking. After meeting the skipper, we will be ready to set sail to admire the beautiful south coast of Vieste.
We will sail towards the Bay of Campi, admiring along the way some sea caves and hidden coves that make this coastline unique. Towards sunset we will stop in the area of Pizzomunno, a 25-metre high monolith that is the protagonist of a popular legend, which the skipper will tell us. It will be a story more exciting than that of Romeo and Juliet!
From our boat we will be able to admire the monolith, a typical trebuchet used for fishing, and the historical part of the town of Vieste seen from the sea. We will also make a stop of about 20 minutes to dive and swim in the golden waters.
After the swim, we will enjoy an evening toast of taralli, chips and a glass of prosecco (or beer/soft drink) , before returning to port.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in order to take part in the tour.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility for safety reasons.

The activity is available from May to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The boat is a 6-metre boat with a 115 hp engine. It is equipped with an awning, a bow sundeck and a ladder. It is necessary to remain barefoot on board the boat.

Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. On-site parking is available for a fee.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
