Good oil, the real thing. If you love it like we do, you cannot miss this tasting of organic EVO oil in San Miniato, at the Inserrata winery and farm.
A guide will accompany you on a tasting tour with professional technique, to get to know the differences between the various types of oil and learn to appreciate their respective characteristics.

What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected at the time of booking at the Inserrata winery, located in the picturesque Tuscan landscape, in the municipality of San Miniato (PI).
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the guide who will introduce us to the winery's production philosophy and organic farming. Upon request, it will be possible to visit the olive grove, which grows 150 metres above sea level, to get a closer look at the centuries-old trees used to cultivate the Frantoiano, Leccino, Moraiolo, Pendolino, Mignola and Coratina varieties.
Inserrata extra-virgin olive oil is a superior category 100% Tuscan product, obtained by cold pressing without filtering, carried out on the same day as the harvest, to preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the product. We will therefore taste 2 types of EVO oil:
- Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with marked bitter and spicy notes
- Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil PGI, more delicate both on the palate and in perfume
This will be a professionally guided tasting session with an in-depth study of the sensory, varietal and seasonal characteristics of the oils, accompanied by Tuscan focaccia and selected local products such as cheeses and cured meats.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total .

The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Minor accompanying persons may participate in the experience at a cost of €10. 00.

There is free parking for guests on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dogs are allowed during the visit.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
