Full description
Get ready for amemorable experiencewithfreeride heliskiing in Madesimo! The helicopter will take you to immaculate peaks from where you will start your adrenaline-filled powder skiing all the way down to the valley, admiring the unique landscapes of Valchiavenna, in the province of Sondrio.
You will have the support of a certified UIAGM Alpine Guide and a helicopter at your complete disposal to transport a maximum of 4 people plus guide and pilot.
Can't get enough of adrenalin-fuelled thrills and, once you arrive in the valley, want to repeat the experience? No problem! When booking, you can choose 1 or 2 descents and double the fun!
What we will do
We will meet in Madesimo at 8.30 a.m . where we will have a briefing on safety equipment (shovel, probe and Arva), and on the rules of behaviour to be adopted to minimise risks.
We will then ascend byhelicopter (about a 10-minute flight) to one of the peaks that dominate the Valchiavenna area at an altitude of over 3,000 metres. The landing site will be chosen to find the best route, depending on the weather conditions and the technical level of the participants.
Once landed, after the usual photos and videos, we will prepare for anadrenaline-filled off-piste descent, always followed and assisted by the Alpine Guide who will accompany us throughout the activity.
And once down in the valley, we will again board the helicopter to repeat the experience (in this case, choose the 2 descents option when booking).
The experience will last approximately 3 hours (variable depending on the option and route chosen).
Who it is aimed at
This activity is reserved for skiers or snowboarders with good technique and who already have some freeriding experience. Participation is possible from 18 years of age.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from December to March, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is intended for private groups of a maximum of 4 participants.
On request, it is possible to organise the activity for larger groups, with the help of a second Alpine Guide. Contact us privately for more information.
The activity can be carried out both on skis and on a snowboard.
The safety kit (probe, shovel and avalanche transceiver) can be hired on site for an extra 15€.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
