Exclusive hot air balloon flight over central Sicily

Treat yourself to the thrill of flying over the landscapes of Central Sicily in a hot-air balloon , with the province of Enna at your feet and MountEtna in the distance.

Thanks to this exclusive experience, only for you and a maximum of 4 other passengers, you will be able to share the emotion of the flight with the most special people and let the wind make your "walk in the skies" unique.

The one-hour flight will end with light refreshments waiting for you upon landing, to toast together to the wonderful memories of this day.

What we will do

We will meet at the designated take-off site, near Dittaino (EN). The meeting will be early in the morning or shortly before sunset to take advantage of the best thermal conditions of the day. If you and your group would like to watch the balloon being inflated to take some photos, we advise you to arrive a little early.

Before leaving, you will attend a briefing where you will receive all the necessary instructions for the flight. Once everything is ready, you will climb into the wicker basket and prepare for take-off, one of the most magical moments of this exclusive flight. You will be accompanied by an excellent pilot, who will ensure that the experience is safe and unforgettable for all passengers.

You will then take to the skies and begin to fly over the magnificent scenery of Central Sicily. The wind will determine the direction of the flight and the landscapes you will encounter during this aerial walk, so each balloon flight is unique and unrepeatable.

Among the panoramas that you will be able to admire from above will be the Dittaino Valley,Mount Etna in the distance, and some towns in the province of Enna, such as Agira, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Watching them looking down from the basket, together with your family members or your better half, will be something simply magical.

After about an hour's flight, it will be time for the landing. Right at the point where you land, the staff will have set up a breakfast or aperitif for you, to toast together to the beauty of the experience you have shared.

After the refreshments you will be taken by pick-up back to your starting point. The total duration of the experience, including briefing, balloon flight, various transfers and refreshments, will be about 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

Hot air ballooning is a suitable activity for anyone over 130 cm tall and weighing a maximum of 130 kg.

Minors must be accompanied throughout the activity by a parent or legal guardian.

For safety reasons, pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or injuries that prevent them from climbing independently onto the wicker basket; people with heart problems and people who have been diving in the 24 hours prior to the flight or who have recently undergone invasive surgery are not allowed to fly .

Other information

The flight takes place from May to July and in September and October, depending on weather conditions. The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as the direction of the balloon trip depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Important: the take-off time may vary depending on the period chosen. The day before the activity, you will receive confirmation from the pilot of the exact time and location.

Breakfast includes sweet and savoury food, such as yoghurt and cappuccino, as well as typical local products. Theaperitif includes a board of typical local products and a drink of your choice. Any allergies and intolerances must be reported to the organiser in advance (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).

Small objects such as smartphones and small video cameras are allowed on board.

Animals are not allowed on board the hot-air balloon.
