Discover the charm of Monferrato from above with a private hot-air balloon flight reserved only for you and the people you wish to bring.
At dawn, when the sun begins to dye the hills and vineyards golden, you will board the wicker basket to admire from above one of the most fascinating areas of Piedmont, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the end of the one-hour flight, an Italian breakfast or aperitif at a farmhouse to taste delicious local products awaits you. A perfect ending to an experience to be lived at least once in a lifetime!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is in Vignale Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria ( you will be given the exact address a few days before the experience) .
You’ll be able to witness the magic of the balloon being inflated and watch the hot-air balloon being prepared up close. Before take-off, the experienced pilot will brief you on safety and conduct and help you climb into the wicker basket.
Once aloft, you’ll let the wind guide you as you admire the enchanting panorama of Monferrato from above, with its neat vineyards, majestic castles and rolling hills.
After about an hour’s flight, we’ll land at a spot determined by the wind. Here, the staff will be waiting to take you on a private transfer back to the starting point and then to a selected bar or agriturismo, where you will be offered a hearty Italian breakfast or an aperitif with local specialities (depending on the time slot chosen when booking) .
Finally, you will be taken back to the original meeting point. Including preparation, the flight, transfers and breakfast, the activity lasts a total of around 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children from 6 years of age, with a minimum height of 120 cm and a maximum weight of 130 kg.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age may only board accompanied by a parent.
Pregnant women, persons with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases or suffering from osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly. In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.

The activity takes place all year round during the week and at weekends, weather permitting.
Each hot-air balloon can carry a maximum of 4 participants.
Important: the flight times indicated in the calendar are approximate and vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
Youare not allowed to bring any items on board, with the exception of camera equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing).
Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the hot air balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
