Discover the charm of Monferrato from above with a private hot-air balloon flight reserved only for you and the people you wish to bring.
Atdawn, when the sun begins to dye the hills and vineyards golden, you will board the wicker basket to admire from above one of the most fascinating areas of Piedmont, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the end of the one-hour flight, an Italian breakfast awaits you at a farmhouse to enjoy delicious local products. A perfect ending to an experience to be lived at least once in a lifetime!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is in Tonco, in the province of Asti (the precise address will be communicated to you a few days before the experience).
You will be able to participate in the magic of inflating the balloon and observe the preparation of the hot-air balloon from close up. Before take-off, the experienced pilot will introduce you to the rules of safety and behaviour and take you aboard the wicker basket.
Once aloft, you will let yourself be guided by the wind while admiring from above the enchanting panorama of Monferrato, with its tidy vineyards, majestic castles, and rolling hills.
After about an hour's flight you will land at a spot decided by the wind. Here the staff will be waiting for you for a dedicated transfer that will take you back to your starting point and then to a selected bar or agriturismo, where you will be offered a rich Italian breakfast.
You will finally be driven back to the initial meeting point. Between preparation, flight, transfer and breakfast, the activity takes about three hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children from 6 years of age, with a minimum height of 120 cm and a maximum weight of 130 kg.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age may only board accompanied by a parent.
Pregnant women, persons with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases or suffering from osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly. In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round during the week and at weekends, weather permitting.
Each hot-air balloon can carry a maximum of 4 participants.
Important: the flight times indicated in the calendar are approximate and vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
Youare not allowed to bring any items on board, with the exception of camera equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing).
Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the hot air balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.
