Full description
Having the sky to yourself is not a dream: it is a hot-air balloon flight over Lake Trasimeno.
At first all you hear is the rustle of the burner and then... silence. Below you the lake becomes a mirror of gold, the islands pop up one after the other and the Umbrian hills awaken, slowly turning colour.
One hour that flies by (literally) and stays with you forever.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at dawn in Centoia, in the province of Arezzo (the take-off point will be chosen by the pilot according to the winds of the day). If you wish, you can arrive half an hour early to witness the inflation of the hot-air balloon: you will see the balloon inflate and transform into a majestic dome ready to rise into the sky.
Then it will be time to climb aboard. A puff of the burner and in a few moments you will find yourself floating gently in the air. You will fly over the Umbrian hills, silver olive groves and medieval villages dotting the landscape. From above you will also admire Lake Trasimeno with its islands: Maggiore, Minore and Polvese, a precious mosaic in the centre of the blue mirror.
On a clearer day, your gaze can wander even further: towards the Val di Chiana, the profile of Monte Amiata, the woods of Monte Subasio to the distant line of the Apennines. A panorama that seems to have no boundaries from above!
For about 1 hour you will fly guided by the experienced pilot, letting the wind decide your course. All you have to do is enjoy the spectacle and, if you wish, take a few souvenir photos. You willland at a spot chosen by the currents; from there, a dedicated organisational vehicle will take you back to the starting field.
Between preparation, briefing, flight and transfers, the experience will last about three hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age.
Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular, pulmonary or osteoporosis diseases, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
Flights take place all year round, weather permitting. The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as the direction of the balloon trip depends on the direction in which the wind is blowing.
Important: the take-off time may vary depending on the period chosen. On the day before the activity - by 6 p.m. - you will receive confirmation from the pilot of the exact time and location.
You are allowed to bring small objects on board, such as smartphones and small video cameras with which you can film.
Dogs are allowed on board the balloon; if you wish to bring your four-legged friend, please contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive by email with your booking confirmation.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; a pick-up service from your hotel/accommodation in neighbouring countries is available on request and at an extra charge. To request this, please contact the organiser.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
