A hot-air balloon all to yourselves? Yes, you’ve read that right.
Climb aboard and let the wind carry you away for a 40–60-minute flight, with the Sannio region beneath your feet and vineyards, hills and villages bathed in the light of dawn or dusk. An experience to share only with those you choose, for an anniversary, a birthday or simply because you fancy doing something special.
If the aim is to make it unforgettable, it’s hard to aim any higher.
What we will do
The meeting point is just before dawn (or sunset) in the Fragneto Monforte (BN) area. Here you’ll meet the pilot and the crew and watch as the hot-air balloon is prepared. After a safety briefing, you’ll be ready to board your private hot-air balloon.
The burner is lit, the basket rises slowly and the panorama of the Sannio region unfolds beneath you. You’ll fly for 40–60 minutes, letting the air currents guide you as you soar over vineyards, hills and villages bathed in the light of dawn or dusk.
The landing site will also be determined by the wind. Once back on the ground, the crew will join you to celebrate the traditional ‘baptism of the air’, accompanied by a certificate and a small souvenir.
You’ll round off the experience with a breakfast featuring both sweet and savoury options, or an aperitif with prosecco, depending on the time of your flight. Finally, the organiser’s vehicle will take you back to the starting point.
The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for anyone who is in good health and able to remain standing in the basket for the duration of the flight.
There is no minimum age requirement, but a minimum height of 130 cm is required to be able to see over the edge of the basket and assume the correct position during landing.
Pregnant women and people with severe mobility issues, or those unable to get in and out of the basket unaided,are not permitted to take part. If you have recently undergone surgery or have specific medical conditions, you must contact the organiser before booking to check whether you are eligible to take part.
The hot-air balloon is also suitable for those who suffer from mild vertigo: the basket is stable, the flight takes place gradually and you do not experience the typical sensation of vertigo associated with height.
Other information
The experience can be booked all year round at dawn and, weather permitting, at sunset, and is reserved for private groups of up to 4 people.
Important: the take-off time may vary depending on the time of year. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the exact time and meeting point, which will be decided based on the weather and wind conditions.
The scenery you may see during the flight may vary, as the direction of the hot-air balloon journey depends on the direction of the wind.
You are permitted to bring small items on board, such as smartphones and small video cameras, with which you can take footage. Pets are not allowed on board the hot-air balloon.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
