Exclusive hot-air balloon flight over the Volturno Valley

Let the winds guide you through bucolic panoramas, where the deep green of the hills merges with the blue of the sky. Admire hidden gems like Alife and Pietraverano from above, with the majestic Matese mountain range in the background.

And when, after an hour's flight, you touch down again, the experience will not be over yet: the staff will accompany you to a local winery for a truly exclusive final toast!

What we will do

We will meet at the designated take-off site, near Alife (CE). The meeting will be early in the morning or shortly before sunset to take advantage of the best thermal conditions of the day. If you want to experience the excitement right from the start, and perhaps take some photos of the balloon inflation, we recommend that you join us in advance.

When everything is ready, we will conduct a short briefing in which we will give you all the information you need for the flight, then you will board the wicker basket. Apart from the pilot, there will only be you and the people you want to take with you on the balloon. Afterwards, we will take to the air.

We will be able to admire the beauty of the Volturno Valley, with the majestic profile of Mount Matese in the distance. The wind will decide the course of our journey, making each flight a unique and unrepeatable experience. Depending on the winds of the day, we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views, from the picturesque villages of Alife and Pietraverano to the vineyard-covered hills of the surrounding area.

After about an hour's flight, we will prepare for landing. Staff will be ready and waiting to take us, in private pick-ups, to a local company where we will be offered refreshments (breakfast or aperitif, depending on the time chosen).

Finally, we will be transported back to the starting point. The total duration of the experience, including briefing, balloon flight, various transfers and refreshments, will be approximately 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

Hot air ballooning is a suitable activity for anyone over 130 cm tall and weighing a maximum of 130 kg.

Minors must be accompanied throughout the activity by a parent or legal guardian.

For safety reasons, pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or injuries that prevent them from climbing independently onto the wicker basket; people with heart problems and people who have been diving in the 24 hours prior to the flight or who have recently undergone invasive surgery are not allowed to fly .

Other information

The flight takes place all year round, weather permitting. The landscapes that can be seen during the flight may vary, as the direction of the balloon trip depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Important: the take-off time may vary depending on the period chosen. The day before the activity, you will receive confirmation from the pilot of the exact take-off time and location.

To reach the take-off point, you can request a return transfer from the city of Caserta, with pickup to be agreed upon after the booking confirmation: select the "flight + transfer" option.

Breakfast includes sweet and savoury food, such as yoghurt and cappuccino, as well as typical local products. Theaperitif includes a board of typical local products and a drink of your choice. Any allergies and intolerances must be reported to the organiser in advance (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).

Small objects such as smartphones and small video cameras are allowed on board.

Animals are not allowed on board the hot-air balloon.
