If you are looking for a special gift or want to share anunforgettable experience with the person you love, an exclusive hot-air balloon flight is just the thing for you.
The hot-air balloon will be all for you, as well as the excitement and panoramic spectacle you will enjoy aboard the wicker basket: a journey over the skies of Mondovì transported by the wind, in its direction and at its speed.
The Piedmontese town is one of the best places in Italy to fly in a hot-air balloon, thanks to the favourable currents and its particular position which, on clear days, allows you to admire the snow-capped Alpine peaks on one side and the sea, as far as Corsica, on the other.
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at theAeroclub in Mondovì (CN). The experience begins with the very first stages of preparing the hot-air balloon. You will witness the inflation of the balloon and the spectacular flare-up that will allow the air inside to heat up and give the go-ahead for take-off. This will be followed by a briefing on behaviour and safety rules and the boarding of the basket.
Once in the air, the wind will decide the course. This makes each flight different from the others: a unique experience awaits you and a place of honour to observe a magnificent scenic spectacle. The skies over Mondovì offer a splendid aerial view of the Alps, the Langhe and, on clear days, the Ligurian Sea.
The activity has a total duration of 3 to 4 hours, of which about 1 hour of actual flight time. After landing, the ground staff will offer you an aperitif of local products and the pilot will hand you the flight certificates , which will serve as a memento of the experience. At the end, you will be escorted back to the meeting point by the staff.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and open to everyone in good health, aged 8 years and over, and with aminimum height of 130 cm.
Pregnant women and people with joint and walking problems are not allowed to fly.
Other information
Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
In spring and summer, the balloon flight will start in the morning shortly after sunrise and in the afternoon two hours before sunset; in the remaining seasons, you may fly at any time of day. In all cases, the course and time of the flight will be confirmed by the pilot after viewing the weather report for the day.
Dogs are not allowed on board the balloon.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
