Full description
If you love the sea and would like to experience a day's sailing, caressed by the wind, our private tour to Taranto and San Pietro Island is for you.
On board a Bavaria 37 Cruiser you will sail for 8 hours around the most beautiful parts of the Apulian coastline, swim in crystal clear waters and snorkel. You will also have a delicious and abundant aperitif on board with local products that will delight your palate.
This experience is your chance to experience unique moments in the company of your friends and to see the wonderful landscapes of Apulia from a new perspective.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Taranto shipyard at 10:00 am, where we will find the beautiful sailing boat Bavaria 37 waiting for us.
Here there will also be the skipper who will accompany us on the tour, giving us the basics of sailing, teaching us nomenclature and what it means to sail downwind and upwind. It will be a real mini-course that will introduce us to the wonders of this discipline.
The itinerary will take us past the city of Taranto new and old, the incredible and evocative statues of the Sirens dominating the rocks, and then to the Island of San Pietro, a naturalistic jewel with a wonderful seabed, with posidonia meadows, different types of clams, seaweed, molluscs and starfish. Here we will also make a swim stop to practice snorkelling with the equipment provided.
Back on board, we will be offered an abundant aperitif of typical products such as taralli, mozzarelline, focaccia, prosecco, water and soft drinks. If we are lucky, we will be able to spot dolphins. We will then continue on to theKeradi archipelago, of which St Peter's Island is a part.
The excursion will last a total of 8 hours, with return to the port of departure scheduled for 18:00 hours.

Small dogs are allowed on board.
The boat is a Bavaria 37 Cruiser, with 3 cabins, 8 beds, kitchen, bathroom, fridge, super-equipped. Dinghy, SUP and snorkelling kit are available on board.
The sailing boat is not wheelchair accessible.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
