There are cities that become more beautiful at sunset. .. and Bari is one of them!
Bari Vecchia slowly lights up, the waterfront is filled with lights and from the gozzo everything seems quieter and more charming.
In this private 2-hour experience you will sail along the Bari coastline with a local skipper, between bathing stops, stories about the city and an Apulian aperitif served on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Bari (BA) . Waiting for you will be Alfonso, a sailor from Bari and guide of the experience, ready to take you on a discovery of the city at the most suggestive time of the day.
You will slowly leave the harbour as the sun begins to set over the Adriatic. You will sail past the Bari skyline, observing from the water the old town, the medieval quarter and some of the landmarks such as the Basilica of San Nicola, Santa Scolastica and the Fortino.
The experience will have a relaxed and fully customisable pace: you can decide together with the skipper whether to dedicate more time to panoramic stops, photographs or one or two moments for a dip in the sea along the coast. During the navigation Alfonso will share stories about Bari's seafaring tradition, fishermen's habits and the daily connection between the city and its port, turning the tour into something more personal than a simple boat trip.
As the sky changes colour and Bari begins to light up in the evening, you will be served an aperitif (included) with prosecco, beer and Apulian snacks such as taralli, to be enjoyed while relaxing on board.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours and will end with a return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not accessible to people with motor disabilities or walking difficulties.

The experience takes place all year round and can be booked by groups of a minimum of 2 people.
The itinerary and bathing stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat available for the tour is an authentic Bari wooden gozzo, 6. 50 m in length and with traditional blue colouring. It is equipped with an awning, cushions, a climbing ladder and a stereo system.

Dogs are not allowed.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
