Full description
There are no longer any half seasons. And indeed, a tropical forest has grown up in the province of Pavia.
Take part in our exotic walk with (colourful) parrots: in the company of a guide, you will get to know and interact directly with numerous species of birds. The birds will fly above your head, rest on your shoulder and lend themselves to nice souvenir photos.
A 2-hour experience, enhanced by a tasty snack!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Verrua Po (PV). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will immediately get to know the protagonists of this experience: the (colourful) parrots! We will meet numerous species including Ararauna, Chloroptera, Amazons, Parakeets and Calopsitti. Thanks to the guide's indications, we will learn how to distinguish the specimens, learning biological and behavioural notions.
Not least, we will learn about the noble mission of the association that hosts us: to rescue and care for birds from distressed situations, as well as to disseminate information on the protection, conservation, day-to-day management and valorisation of these splendid animals.
And after getting acquainted with our companions, winning them over with a small bag of tasty food, we will be ready for our exotic walk: we will walk through the surrounding countryside, taking a flat path measuring approximately 1.5 km. During the walk, we will experience the thrill of interacting directly with the parrots: they will fly free over our heads, rest on our shoulders and take unforgettable souvenir photos with us!
Finally, we will return to the meeting point where we will find a snack of homemade cakes, sandwiches or chips awaiting us, depending on the day's availability. The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 3 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The experience is accessible to people with motor and non-motor disabilities; there is no disabled toilet on site. People with disabilities participate free of charge while accompanying persons pay the full fee: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of people with disabilities.

The experience takes place on Saturdays from September to June.
Dogs are not allowed.
Options for people with food allergies and intolerances are not available.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
