A special day
A wonderful afternoon spent with some very special creatures. We were welcomed by Gianluca, who was cheerful, friendly and very knowledgeable. He introduced us to these marvellous parrots, explaining where they came from and their habits both in the wild and in captivity. Gianluca is part of an organisation that looks after these parrots, which have been abandoned, confiscated, found or handed over into their care. He was so good at putting us at ease with them that by the middle of the afternoon, one person in our group – who’d been afraid at first – had a parrot on their head and one on their shoulder. We enjoyed a lovely snack together with our feathered friends, who tucked into the fruit.Gianluca always answered our questions with great enthusiasm. At the end of the visit, which went on longer than the agreed time, we watched the parrots return to their cages in an orderly fashion. Highly recommended 🥰

A wonderful experience that will stay with us forever!
We travelled from Parma to the Oltrepò Pavese to meet Camilla and her magnificent birds of prey. There were four of us adults and a 6-year-old boy, who was absolutely spellbound: for the whole of the following week, he carried on drawing falcons and barn owls.nnCamilla guided us with great passion and expertise through what was a truly special experience lasting almost two hours. We were able to observe these magnificent birds up close, hold them on our arms with a glove, feed them and watch them glide, dive and flap their large flight feathers.nnHer ever-so-sweet barn owl was one of the most entertaining highlights of the experience.nnWe never touched the birds – that’s Camilla’s policy: they aren’t pets!nnHighly recommended for families, nature lovers and anyone wishing to explore the world of falconry in an authentic and special way.

A unique and colourful activity
It was certainly an alternative and original experience, set in a bucolic setting with a colourful bunch of friends who were keen to get to know us! The only downside was the scorching heat, but the guide took us on a shorter walk, allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted interacting with the parrots under the farmhouse porch. And anyway, we were so engrossed in our feathered friends that the heat took a back seat! My teenage children were absolutely thrilled!

How beautiful 🦜
It was a fantastic afternoon dedicated to these wonderful creatures.Gianluca gave us a lot of information about parrots in a pleasant and comprehensive way.I had the chance to understand many things, to appreciate them and to get to know them better.Experiencing them so closely was a unique, evocative experience that I recommend to everyone.To take a complete break from the daily routine and immerse oneself completely in an afternoon in the open air that is sure to leave beautiful memories.Towards the end of the experience there was a nice snack in the courtyard.I don't know if I will ever have a parrot, but I certainly know now how great these splendid feathers are as companions for those who have the possibility and the good fortune to have them.Experience to be had.
