Have you ever dreamed of being a medieval knight with a majestic bird of prey at your side?
Stop daydreaming and come and enjoy an authentic falconry experience in the heart of Salento!
In 1 hour you will visit anenchanting estate with over 50 aviaries and experience the thrill of flying a magnificent Harris Hawk and calling it to your fist. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet in Salice Salentino (LE), a quarter of an hour before the time selected at the time of booking. On our arrival, the falconer will welcome us and show us theenchanting estate with over 50 aviaries.
We will begin with a 30-minute guided tour through the aviaries, where we will have the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of birds of prey at close quarters: from majestic American eagles to eagle owls, passing by fascinating owls and mysterious barn owls.
But the real excitement comes with the 'Baptism of the Glove': wearing the special glove provided by the falconer, we will have the honour of interacting for about 30 minutes with a magnificent Harris Hawk.
We will witness the flight of this extraordinary bird of prey, which is distinguished by its dark brown plumage, reddish shoulders and white wingtips, and by its remarkable intelligence. Afterwards, we will experience the thrill of calling it to our fist by landing it safely on our arm.
The activity will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over the age of 8. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
The experience is also suitable for people with disabilities.

The activity is carried out all year round.
Companions can stay in the courtyard, where a bar is also available.
