Bushcraft experience in Cerveteri and night in a shelter

Then you cannot miss our bushcraft experience in Cerveteri. Not only will you learn from qualified instructors how to live in the wilderness, but you will also experience bushcraft cooking and spend a night in small wooden huts in the forest for a total immersion in nature.

What we will do

The meeting point is the bushcraft camp in Cerveteri, at 9:00 am. The camp, the first in Italy open all year round, is located in an enchanting natural setting, which will also allow you to explore the Cerveteri Falls.

Upon your arrival, we will immediately hold an introductory briefing to give you a taste of what you will experience. During the two-day experience, you will discover the main techniques of bushcraft, i.e. how to live in a natural environment.

You will learn how to handle tools, such as knives and axes; recognise medicinal herbs and edible plants; light and manage fires for heating and cooking; build a safe and cosy shelter from natural materials; and orient yourself in nature using a compass.

There will be orientation hikes in the forest, hands-on sessions to hone your navigation skills. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enjoy three meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast) with typical bushcraft dishes, prepared on site using 'dutch oven' methods.

For the night, you will stay in an authentic bushcraft bivouac, lit with oil lanterns. The wooden structures, which have already been built, offer an authentic and comfortable experience in nature.

The experience will continue the following morning, where we can engage in more bushcraft activities after enjoying ahearty breakfast. The activity will end around 14:00 the following day.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone aged 6 years and older. For minors, if unaccompanied, a signed parental authorisation is required.

Other information

The experience can be booked throughout the year and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

Lunch, dinner and breakfast are included in the participation fee. In the event of intolerances, allergies or special dietary requirements, please contact the guide at the references that will be sent to you by e-mail with the booking confirmation.

For overnight stays, as an alternative to the refuge, you can decide to sleep under the stars during the summer period. The structures are wooden and already built; one of them is equipped with a stove, while a fire will be lit outside to heat the others. Four structures are available, one for 4 persons and the others for 2 persons.

Part of the road leading to the meeting point has an uneven surface: caution is advised on the way.
