Have you never participated in a canyoning experience? Then canyoning in Roccanieri is perfect for you!
Face rope abseiling, water slides and small dives together with an expert guide, always at your side to guarantee maximum safety throughout the entire route.
Come and experience 3 hours of fun in the province of Rieti.
What we will do
We will meet at 10 a.m. in Grotti (RI). Here we will meet our guide , who will accompany us on this canyoning experience.
After handing over all ourequipment - wetsuit, helmet, footwear, rucksack and harness - we will move with our cars for 2 km to reach the Roccaranieri canyon car park. From here, after a 20-minute walk, we will reach the exact starting point of our adventure.
After dressing, the guide will give a briefing on progression techniques and safety rules that will allow us to tackle the canyon in total peace of mind. We will finally be ready to venture into the Fosso di Roccaranieri, a canyon immersed in wild nature.
We will begin immediately with the spectacular and impressive 27-metre waterfall, from which we will abseil with a rope. We will then continue with more rope descents and small dives. We will be fascinated by the beautiful natural scenery and the paths that the water has carved in the rock.
We will finally arrive at the Salto river where we can enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to the point where we left our cars, about a 5-minute walk away.
We will spend about three hours in the water, for a total duration of the experience of about three and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. The maximum weight limit is 120 kg.
No previous experience is required to participate and it is not necessary to know how to swim.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants. For groups of at least 4 participants it is also possible to hold the activity on midweek dates on request: contact us to submit your booking request.
Please note! To participate in the experience, you must have a car.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
There is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
