Climb aboard a real Ferrari California and conquer the streets of Rome at the wheel of an all-Italian icon: elegant, powerful, convertible. From the Vatican to the Janiculum Hill, from the Lungotevere to the motorway - every bend is an opportunity to feel thethrill of driving.

An expert tutor will always be at your side, ready to guide you along the route and make the most of every moment - whether it's to savour the view or to hear the engine sing a little more.

What we will do

The appointment is in Rome, at the indicated starting point. The first 15 minutes will be devoted to the bureaucratic part: licence check, signing of the contract and a brief technical briefing with the on-site staff, just enough time to familiarise ourselves with the car and the safety rules.

Then... we fire up the engine. The Ferrari California is a 460 hp jewel, with a retractable hardtop, a dream interior and a soul that vibrates with every acceleration.

You can choose from three different road trips:

• 30 minutes: panoramic tour between the Vatican, Porta Cavalleggeri, Gianicolo, Fontana dell'Acqua Paola and Lungotevere;
• 45 minutes: a wider and smoother section, ideal to feel the full thrust of the V8 and enjoy smoother curves outside the centre;
• 60 minutes: full experience with urban, scenic and - if you wish - even a stretch of motorway to experience the sportier side of the California.

Throughout the experience you will be accompanied by a tutor (experienced driver) who will explain what you need to know about the car and guide you along the route, designed to avoid traffic and enjoy every curve. In addition to you and the tutor, up to two accompanying persons may also be on board.

The tour will end with a return to the starting point, depending on the duration chosen at the time of booking.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is reserved for participants aged 21 years or older and in possession of a valid driving licence (category B). The driving licence must be brought along on the day of the activity and shown before departure. International driving licences or sworn translations into Italian for non-EU citizens are accepted (issued by embassies or consulates, to be presented together with the original licence).

The Ferrari California has 4 seats: in addition to the driver and tutor, up to 2 accompanying people can get in free of charge; they must be atleast 10 years old and at least 1.30 m tall to travel safely.

Other information

The activity is available all year round.

You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the chosen time to check in, show your driving licence, and sign the rental contract.

When booking, you can choose the duration of the experience by selecting your preferred option from 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The routes vary depending on the duration and can include urban stretches, scenic areas, and - on request - even a stretch of motorway.

The cars are covered by third-party liability and Kasko insurance included in the package, with a deductible of up to € 3,000 in case of damage. If you need further information about this, you can contact the organiser at the contact details sent to you by e-mail with your booking confirmation.

Driving in flip-flops, slippers or heels is prohibited, as is smoking, eating or drinking in the car. Driving while impaired by alcohol or substances is not permitted.

Photo and video service is not guaranteed, but the staff is often available to create content on request. Just ask at the time, the tutor will be happy to help you capture the experience during the stops!

The venue can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.
