Your nose for unforgettable experiences has led you to the right place: to the truffle hut!
Come to Sarezzano, amidst the beautiful Tortonese hills, andimmerse yourself in the world of truffles for 8 hours in the company of an expert truffle hunter and his four-legged helpers.
A day that will take you through unique scents and flavours, to be celebrated with a delicious truffle lunch.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking at the meeting point in Sarezzano, in the heart of the Tortonese hills. Here, a unique experience will await us, all dedicated to truffles, white and black!
The day will begin with a short classroom presentation, during which we will discover the secrets of this prized dish. We will learn how to recognise truffle varieties, search techniques and, above all, how dogs are trained to sniff out the precious underground 'treasure'.
At this point, we will move on to practice! In a dedicated area, we will see the little dogs at work, trained on artificial truffles. It will be exciting to watch how these animals use their sense of smell to locate the truffle, signalling it to their handler.
Afterwards, it will be time to enjoy a lunch break in a local restaurant, where the truffle will be the undisputed star of the menu. Sophisticated dishes and local wines will make you savour the best of the Tortonese cuisine.
In the afternoon, after recharging our batteries, we will move to a private truffle field, surrounded by nature. In this fenced-in field, we will finally be able to try our hand at field searching for the prized local truffle, under the guidance of our truffle hunter.
During the day, there will be short transfers on board a transfer provided by the organiser. The experience will last a total of about 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone and is recommended from the age of 18. Minors may participate accompanied.
The activity is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Pregnant women are welcome.

The activity is available all year round, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
