Full description

For those who wish to put themselves to the test and discover the world of survival, we propose asurvival experience in the Ticino Park.

You will learn to manoeuvre in a non-human environment and to manage the stress that can be generated in unexpected situations. You will find yourself in a dense forest in the Ticino Park, in the last patch of primeval forest in Italy, from the Ice Age.

An experience composed of various fun and instructive activities that will allow you to strengthen your personality by immersing yourself in a context that will require you to overcome your limits.

What we will do

The meeting with the instructors is set for 9 a.m. in Vergiate. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the instructors, who will briefly describe the day's activities, after which we will head into the woods of the Ticino Park.

This will be followed by a brief explanation (of about 15-20 minutes) about how humans act and react in unexpected situations.

Then we will be able to try our hand at a kind of adventure park: we will find a marinara and tirolese passage that we will have to traverse without a harness at about 2 metres. This practical part will last about 15 minutes. Next, we will make a 4-metre-long Tibetan bridge using a system of knots and learn a number of tricks to put into practice if necessary.

We will then discover the various principles of orientation and learn how maps and compasses work. We will also learn how to locate our position on the map and how to measure theazimuth and distance to be covered.

This will be followed by an activity that will allow us to put what we have learnt into practice: we will be asked to reach a point indicated on the map, where, in an emergency situation, help could be on hand. The instructor will follow the group, but unless we put ourselves in a dangerous situation he or she will not intervene, allowing us to reach our goal alone.

The experience will end after four hours, at around 13:00.
