Once upon a time there was a knight in a castle in the province of Varese.
Or rather, in a prestigious Art Nouveau villa (which we like even better) . Take part in our experiential stay in the province of Varese: the package includes overnight stay with breakfast and dinner, horse riding and much more.
To spend a fabulous day (and night) !
What we will do
Check-in is from 4. 00 pm at the meeting point in Viggiù (VA). You will be staying in a prestigious 19th-century villa, set within a lush park that encompasses this gem of the province of Varese.
At reception, you will be given the keys to your room: this features a king-size double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower or bath, towels and toiletries; and is equipped with a wardrobe, Smart LED TV, minibar, kettle, coffee machine, air conditioning/heating and Wi-Fi. All rooms are furnished in Art Nouveau and Belle Époque styles, as is the entire villa; inside, you can also admire a prestigious private art collection.
Your stay will be enhanced by a horse ride: the riding instructor will provide the equipment, help you mount the horse and give you all the information you need to ensure a carefree experience. You will ride through the natural scenery surrounding the villa, retracing the history of the First World War and enjoying panoramic views of Lake Como and Lake Ceresio. At the end of the horse ride, you can relax in the villa’s wellness area: an outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub, available in spring and summer; and a sauna, available all year round.
If you select the ‘with breakfast and dinner’ option, you’ll round off the day with dinner in the villa’s grand dining room: the set menu consists of three courses, featuring traditional dishes made with local ingredients. These will be prepared by a chef who has come to the villa especially for this exclusive occasion!
The following morning, you’ll be treated to a sweet and savoury breakfast buffet.

A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in the horseback ride.
The horse ride is of an easy level and suitable as a first time in the saddle.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
