Expert horse riding in Val Rendena

Forget the usual walks, what you are about to experience is a real adventure!

For you who love horses, here is an ideal excursion for experienced riders to discover the woods and streams of Val Rendena, nestled between the Brenta Dolomites.

During the 2-hour ride, you will have the opportunity to test yourself with different gaits, from stride to gallop, and to tackle a course of exciting ups and downs with a difference in altitude of around 700 metres. The final prize? A good snack!

What we will do

We will meet at a farm in Porte di Rendena, at the address given after booking.

First, we will be accompanied by the guide to saddle our horses, to get acquainted with them right away. Then we will be about to begin our adventurous ride, which will require a good level of experience.

Our 8 km route, with an expected altitude difference of 700 metres, will take us through the woods of Val Rendena. We will walk along the Bedù stream, a tributary of the Sarca river, and pass through the San Valentino area, which owes its name to the little church of the same name.

We will surpass an altitude of 1100 metres and engage in someimportant ascents and descents, in which it will be essential to have excellent control of our horses. Along the way, we will be able to test ourselves with different gaits, from the most relaxing stride to the exciting trot, and even some galloping passages.

We will return to the meeting place after about 2 hours of riding. Here a snack with farm produce awaits us, a reward for our day's riding.

The activity will last a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is aimed at experienced riders aged 14 and over.

Participants must be able to master pacing, trotting and galloping, be able to ride English riding and be able to handle the horse independently, from saddling to leading on a walk.

A maximum weight of 85 kg and a maximum height of 1.90 m are required to participate.

The activity takes place all year round (Monday to Saturday) and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.

The mount used is English.

The meeting point in Porte di Rendena can be reached by public transport, with a bus stop nearby.
