Full description
If you love to venture off the beaten track, this is theriding experience you've been looking for.
Set off from Cavedine and ride along paths through the mountain forests until you reach the summit of Mount Gaggio. Along the way, beautiful views of the Cavedine valley and its lake await you to recharge your batteries in contact with nature.
Choose either a 1- or 2-hour walk, depending on your preference: we are waiting for you in the saddle!
What we will do
We will meet at the time agreed at the time of booking at the ranch in Cavedine (TN).
After getting to know our horse, we will leave the ranch to immerse ourselves in the regenerating nature of Garda Trentino. The route, suitable for experienced riders , will include significant ascents and descents, narrow passages with rocks, and sections of trail to be trotted or galloped.
The 1-hour ride will cover approximately 5 km and will take us to the summit of Monte Gaggio, from where we will enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Brenta Dolomites and Monte Bondone. Riding through the forest, we will breathe in the fresh mountain air among beech, holm oak and coniferous trees.
The 2-hour walk, on the other hand, will take us 8 km and will touch upon other notable vantage points: Lake Cavedine, the mountains surrounding our valley, Monte Bondone, Monte Gazza, the Paganella and the Brenta group. Embracing such a view with our gaze will make us feel one step away from heaven!
We will return to the ranch after a 1-hour or 2-hour walk, depending on the duration chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is aimed at experienced riders from the age of 14. Experienced riders are those who ride regularly, have had riding lessons and know how to handle the horse and the various gaits independently: gait, trot and gallop.
The maximum weight permitted for the activity is 110 kg.
Other information
The experience takes place every day of the year and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
When booking, you can choose the duration of your experience: 1 hour or 2 hours.
The ride will proceed at awalking pace and in some sections, if your guide allows, you can proceed at a trot or gallop. The horses will be mounted American-style.
At the ranch you will find about 30 horses, including ponies, Sardinian ponies and thoroughbred horses. The main breeds are Paint horse, Quarter horse, Haflingher and Anglo-Arab. The horses live in herds, in a large paddock paradise and are unshod to ensure their well-being. The ranch embraces the philosophy of naturalhorsemanship, which involves natural communication with the horses to understand their needs and respect them.
No bags or backpacks are allowed during the ride for safety reasons.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
