Take part in our expert horseback ride in Ostia: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture through the Castel Fusano pine forest until you reach the Ostia Lido beach.
An experience of over 2 ½ hours, riding on the wings of freedom!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will proceed with the assignment of Friesian and Spanish horses. We will then enter the field, mount the saddle and go over the basics of riding. The guide will provide all useful information for a carefree experience. This first moment will last about 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Castel Fusano pine forest, a splendid natural setting just a few steps from the capital; we will ride for about 1 hour in the characteristic vegetation, immersed in the colours and scents of this corner of Rome. We will then reach the beach at Ostia Lido: we will ride along the seafront and, at the guide's discretion, we can gallop on the sand!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The hike is suitable for 18 years and over.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The excursion is reserved for experienced riders: to participate, you must be able to walk and trot; if the experience requirement is not met, the excursion may not take place at the guide's discretion. Different gaits may be requested during the walk at the guide's discretion.
Other information
The experience takes place from November to April on a private basis.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
