Do you love nature and animals and are you attracted by the world of birds of prey?
Don't miss this unique experience in Brianza: 2 hours in contact with barn owls, owls, eagles and many other species whose secrets you can discover.
Alone or accompanied by your family, you will be able to watch theexciting flight of these birds and call them to you to glide over your fist. In short, get ready to become a falconer for a day!
What we will do
We will meet in Ornago (MB), at the time chosen during the booking process.
We will welcome you to our centre, a special place built by veterinary doctor Francesca , where several endangered animals are rescued, cured and adopted every year.
We will spend the first half hour visiting all the aviaries, learning about the 56 birds of prey that live here including barn owls, tawny owls, owls, vultures, buzzards, falcons, kestrels and eagles. We will learn their curious names (inspired by Lord of the Rings), biology and habits of each species.
After that, we will move on to a demonstration lasting about 20 minutes, in which falconers will fly some of the birds of prey, including the eagle. Then it will be time to test ourselves: after putting on the glove, we will be able to take part in theflying experience, drawing the animals from the falconer's fist to our own fist.
Some species such as buzzards andvultures can be called directly from the trees as we stroll over the grounds of the property. And, beware, the buzzard may surprise us with some small but spectacular acrobatics!
The last part of the activity will be dedicated tointeraction with nocturnal birds of prey, with the possibility of petting them and getting to know them.
We will say goodbye at the end of the meeting, after 2 hours of experience.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 4 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult paying the participant fee or accompanying person.
The experience is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Attention! When booking, it is possible to book for individuals (participants and accompanying persons) or families (family of 3 or 4 members). Specifically, a family of 3 consists of 2 parents and 1 child up to the age of 9, while a family of 4 consists of 2 parents and 2 children up to the age of 9.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 3 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.

There is free parking on site; the meeting point is only about 30 minutes' drive from Milan. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
