An experience you really must try❤️
I was looking for a special present for my son Luca’s 10th birthday and, quite by chance, I stumbled across this experience – and it turned out to be a treat for me too, even though I’m usually quite a nervous sort. A beautiful location surrounded by nature, where we were welcomed by Francesca and the charming Alessandro, who guided us through the world of birds of prey with amusing and even moving anecdotes (Morgana springs to mind, for example). After the tour, we had the chance to ‘get up close and personal’ with some birds of prey: Ettore, Woody and Semola (who stole my heart and I really took a shine to). It was thrilling to see them up close and to be able to cuddle them. I was struck by the love Francesca has for her ‘babies’, but it was amazing to see how this love is reciprocated – their bond is beautiful. An experience that really gives so much – thank you ❤️

A smile, professionalism and...
A smile, professionalism and passion welcomed us on a warm Sunday in September – and whilst these weren’t the names of the three wonderful souls who guided us by the hand into this world, they could well have been! Francesca, a vet – which is a real bonus – is the owner, resident manager and driving force behind the centre’s projects and welfare. She has my utmost respect and my sincere THANKS for making this possible… for everyone… Even for my 90-year-old mum, this was a form of pet therapy – despite those who claim these creatures are dangerous… Those who are loved, love in return, and here it’s plain to see! The empathy and affection forged between the animals and the carers is truly moving. Sabrina, professional, friendly and accommodating, was our guide through the aviaries; an hour or so spent learning about the breeds, the living habits of the various birds present, and interesting facts about falconry… followed by interacting with them… three marvellous birds on a glove! Ettore, Woody, Semola. ❤️ Thank you ❤️

An unforgettable day!
A fantastic and unique experience because, as well as the ‘usual’ falconry demonstration – that is, getting the birds of prey to land on the special glove – we also had the chance to touch and cuddle one of the reserve’s owls. My children and I really enjoyed this opportunity, as we are huge animal lovers and would never have imagined being able to interact with a bird of prey in that way. A highly recommended experience, suitable even for very young children.

An interesting and enjoyable day
Well done on your dedication, kindness and professionalism. We arrived and were welcomed with a smile and lots of warmth. The tour began with explanations about falconry and the birds of prey on display. It was truly interesting and informative. Then came the exciting part… from watching the birds of prey in flight to having them cuddled… but I’d better not give too much away, as it’s an experience you have to live through yourself!!!
