A smile, professionalism and...
A smile, professionalism and passion welcomed us on a warm Sunday in September – and whilst these weren’t the names of the three wonderful souls who guided us by the hand into this world, they could well have been! Francesca, a vet – which is a real bonus – is the owner, resident manager and driving force behind the centre’s projects and welfare. She has my utmost respect and my sincere THANKS for making this possible… for everyone… Even for my 90-year-old mum, this was a form of pet therapy – despite those who claim these creatures are dangerous… Those who are loved, love in return, and here it’s plain to see! The empathy and affection forged between the animals and the carers is truly moving. Sabrina, professional, friendly and accommodating, was our guide through the aviaries; an hour or so spent learning about the breeds, the living habits of the various birds present, and interesting facts about falconry… followed by interacting with them… three marvellous birds on a glove! Ettore, Woody, Semola. ❤️ Thank you ❤️

An unforgettable day!
A fantastic and unique experience because, as well as the ‘usual’ falconry demonstration – that is, getting the birds of prey to land on the special glove – we also had the chance to touch and cuddle one of the reserve’s owls. My children and I really enjoyed this opportunity, as we are huge animal lovers and would never have imagined being able to interact with a bird of prey in that way. A highly recommended experience, suitable even for very young children.

I think everyone should have an experience like this. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and, to be honest, I’ve never been a fan of cages. But I’ve come to fully understand imprinting and everything behind it. I wouldn’t call them aviaries but 5-STAR-PLUS HOTELS! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the experience.

A highly recommended experience!
A wonderful experience. Alessandro was brilliant and friendly in explaining the characteristics and stories of the birds of prey. Well done to Francesca, both for her love of animals and for the beauty and care of the surroundings. The ‘farm’ is very well organised and clean. A highly recommended experience. The flight experience was thrilling, as was the chance to stroke and interact with the animals. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience
As an animal lover, I absolutely loved this experience. The care with which the animals are looked after is exceptional, and this came across clearly through the very detailed explanations about the lifestyles of all the birds of prey there. The flying experience was also truly unique! Highly recommended!
